In addition to the pressure resistance and airtightness tests specified in the High Pressure Gas Safety Law(Koatsu Hoan Kyokai=KHK), SK CYLINDER conducts various original tests such as X-ray monitor inspections every two hours. All stainless steel cylinders and their welded lines are subjected to X-ray inspection so that only high-quality products are delivered to customers. Furthermore, our unique shot blasting treatment and twice degreasing process have improved our product quality to the next level. We have established a thorough quality control system that meets the laws and standards of Korea, China, and other countries around the world.
Precise in-house inspections using a dedicated X-ray inspection device prevents the occurrence of defects.
SK CYLINDER has installed a specially designed X-ray inspection device. All LP gas cylinders are inspected by X-ray to ensure that there are no welding defects such as blows, pinholes, or center misalignment. For stainless steel welded cylinders, more stringent X-ray inspections are conducted for all units and welded lines. JCSS calibration certificates* have been obtained for various measuring instruments, enabling us to conduct various accurate tests. In addition, we conduct penetrant testing (PT) and other tests to check for cracks in the surface layer, as necessary, to ensure that only high-quality products are delivered to customers through a series of rigorous checks.
* The JCSS calibration certificate is a certificate indicating traceability to national standards conforming to ISO 17025.

Our unique shot blasting treatment and two thorough degreasing processes are carried out.
Advanced inner surface sandblasting and hot water rinsing are carried out in the manufacturing process of seamless cylinders. In the sandblasting process, our specially designed nozzle enables uniform polishing even down to the neck of the pressure container. For beverage and medical cylinders, in addition to the usual degreasing process, we carry out a second degreasing process in the final stage to thoroughly remove oil that is the source of odors.
